Twenty-one days of doors run on what happens in one room
District 41 will be decided by a few thousand votes, and most of them belong to people who don’t vote by party. Reaching those neighbors takes mail, printing, and the kind of October ground operation that costs real money.
This reception is how we pay for it. Everything raised on September 29 goes directly into voter contact between now and Election Day — the mail piece that lands before the mail-ballot deadline, the palm cards handed out at the Art Festival, and the sign inventory for the last three weeks.
If you’ve been meaning to help and haven’t found the moment, this is the moment. Come have a drink, meet Lou and Melissa, and ask him the hard question you’ve been sitting on. He’d rather answer it in person.

Ticket Levels
$2,000 is the ceiling — under R.I. Gen. Laws § 17-25-10.1(a)(1) that is the most any one person may give a Rhode Island candidate across an entire calendar year, and it counts everything you have already given this year. No payment is collected on this website. RSVP below and we’ll take care of it at the door or by check. And if any number here is a stretch, come anyway — a full room matters more to this campaign than a full table.
Can’t make it?There are three other ways to help that night
Not everyone can get to Cranston on a Tuesday evening, and nobody should feel awkward about that. If you want to be part of this without being in the room: contribute by mail, take a lawn sign, or give Lou two hours on a Saturday morning. All three matter more than a seat at a table.
Save your spot
Let us know you’re coming so we can get the headcount right with Alpine. Someone from the campaign will follow up with the details.
