This Privacy Policy explains how Friends of Michael Riley ("the campaign," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information submitted through this website.

Information We Collect

When you submit a form on this site — including the Volunteer, Lawn Sign Request, or Contact pages — we collect the information you provide directly, which may include your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and any comments or notes you submit. If you make a contribution, additional information (such as occupation and employer) may be required by Rhode Island campaign finance law.

How We Use Information

We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, coordinate volunteer activity, arrange lawn sign delivery, process contributions in compliance with Rhode Island campaign finance law, and to keep you informed about the campaign by phone, text, mail, or email, consistent with any preferences you express.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Contribution information may be reported to the Rhode Island Board of Elections as required by law, and such reports are generally available to the public through the Board's website. We do not otherwise share your information with third parties except as required by law or to service providers who help us operate the campaign (for example, email or hosting providers), who are required to protect your information.

Cookies & Analytics

This site does not currently run analytics or advertising trackers. If the campaign later adds Google Analytics, a Meta Pixel, or similar tools, this policy will be updated to say so before those tools go live.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you provide, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

You may ask to be removed from our contact lists at any time by contacting us using the information on our Contact page.

Children's Privacy

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
